Adding comments from e-mails and linking to external data

During the presentation today we discussed developing a process so that comments or emails from outlook may be mapped into the individuals dialog. The thought is that if there was a process for mapping individual emails into a comment section of an individual's dialog as performance observations would round out the informaiton needed for completing an individuals performance reveiw. It would also be important to develop a process to take a data feed from other systems to update actual data with employee's crtical measurements. For example, if you could take a feed from a sales tracking system would prevent rekeying of data.
