Task date dependencies

A user has requested that we allow task dates to be dependent on other task or project dates. For example, allow a task to be set to have a start date equal to the end date of a previous task. This is a big feature of project management applications like Microsoft Project.

 

Most likely, we will not add this feature as it is fairly complicated to implement and to wire up on the user interface side. However, if you really want this feature, let us know here. :-)

  This would be nice. We have had a few users ask for this, and they have also indicated they aren't using Connections to track the tasks of complex projects, in part because they need to kep track of some of those dependencies and they don't want to maintain separate task lists.
