Entering Projected Hours While Creating a Project Task

It would be nice if there was an option to input an estimated time that a project should take as a whole while creating the task itself...then still have the option to enter hours in per individual. Sometimes team members have trouble projecting time so if they had an estimated total for the task, it may help them determine their individual time commitment.
