To Create a Secure Project
Create a security group for on the site page.
On the Department Tab for their department, add the security group to the locks of the page (at the top of the page, on metrics, on projects and on dialogs and check all appropriate security -- reader, create, update, delete, delegate).
3. (Do above before you create the NEW secure project). Create a project on the department page (make sure it is the last project on the current status list otherwise people will see there is a project “missing”).
4. On the “secured project” use the lock and edit reader to be the red ball (no access) and click the green check.
5. Do the same for project metrics, project tasks and project dialogs (that way no one can add these to their My Connection).
6. Now no one outside of this security group will be able to “see” the project. Also you have denied access to reader for the people tab so no one should be able to see the project tasks through someone’s People tab from the same department.
