Temporary Passwords
Temporary passwords (when using the forgot your password feature):
- The password is case-sensitive and usually has a bunch of characters that may be easy to confuse with other characters (lowercase Ls and uppercase Is, for example.) Using cut-and-paste to copy the password from the e-mail to the login page usually works the best.
- The password only last one hour, so it is best to try it as soon as you receive the e-mail.
- If you request a temporary password more than once, only the last one requested is valid.
- If you receive more than one e-mail with a temporary password, this could mean that you requested it more than once (so only the last one is valid), or you have more than one account tied to your e-mail address, and the application sent one password for each of your accounts. In this case, you just have to pick the password from the e-mail that lists the account name of the account that you are trying to access. The account name should be listed in bold in the paragraph above the temporary password.
