Security Using Propagation

Users will now be able to propagate the default security on the site page as well as security elements on the metric and project modules on the organization, department and people tabs within the application.

When you create a project from your department it has a specific security – that initial security “stays” with the project from that moment in time forward.  For the security to work properly, make sure you click the propagate icon on the security edit window (you will find the propagate icon in both the metrics and task security locks).  It is the icon to the right of the “add” edit symbol.
