User Can't Update a Task
If a User cannot update a task, make sure they are :

A member of the team and have a role

Security is propagated properly
If the person that is assigned the task doesn’t have security to update it, you can add them individually or their security group to the lock on the dialog lock and give them or the group read/update security to update any dialog tasks they may have.
Regarding the completed tasks on dialogs – they roll forward as completed for one additional dialog meeting (so it can be printed on the dialog to show they are completed) and then they come off for the second up-coming dialog meeting. You can still see them by opening past dialogs.
