We receive calls regarding common measures for different department/functions when people are creating their department scorecards.  This is a great resource to see general KPIs for many common functions like marketing, IT, and HR.  There are also some general banking metrics.  Here is the website: http://www.smartkpis.com/ – when you visit the website, if you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see a listing of both functional areas as well as industries.  Just register to see the many KPIs that have been listed.  I’m sure there are some that would fit your scorecard.  The KPI describes how the metric is calculated – which could be copied to the metric description field in Connections.
