Emails from Connections Online (password resets, survey reminders, etc.)
Our servers send email messages to users for multiple reasons, including password reset requests and Performance Management survey notifications. If you are expecting an email from us but don't receive one, make sure that:
- Your mail server didn't quarantine or reject the message. We send all automated mail out from the support@connectionsonline.net email address, and our messages use SPF and DKIM to authenticate that they are really from us.
- Your email address is correct for your account. If you cannot log in, your organization's Connections Online administrator can check this for you. Your email address may or may not match your login username, so make sure both are correct.
- The message isn't in your spam folder. If this happens, you may want to make sure future emails from support@connectionsonline.net aren't marked as spam by white-listing our email address.
Other hints for using the password reset emails:
- Password reset emails expire in one hour. If you receive a password reset email, but the link doesn't work for you, make sure you clicked the link within one hour of requesting it.
- Make sure your username is correct. If the link works and you are able to reset your password, but then you cannot log back in with that password, verify your username with a site administrator.
