Setup for Microsoft Entra ID to configure SAML 2.0 with Connections Online

Permission to edit the Organization is required to finish this process.

• Log in to Azure
• Entra ID Page
• Manage Enterprise Applications
• + New Application
• + Create your own application
• Determine who has access to the app
• Set up single sign-on

Edit the Basic SAML Configuration area to enter the following:

Identifier (Entity ID): https://data.connectionsonline.net/saml2

Reply URL (ACS URL): https://data.connectionsonline.net/saml/assertion

In Attributes & Claims

Name: username

Source attribute: whichever identifying field in your IDP is set as the username in Connections

Both previous steps have been updated on the SAML-based Sign-on page

Download the Base64 option for later use.

The information in section 4 will be entered later on your organization in Connections.

• Go to your Organization page, open the edit modal window, and scroll down to the bottom of the options.
• Turn on "Allow SAML single sign-on" which will show the fields needed to finish SSO setup.

Entity ID : copy and paste from Microsoft Entra Identifier in section 4.

SSO URL : copy and paste the Login URL from section 4.

Certificate : enter the certificate downloaded from section 3.

Don't forget to save!
