Connections Online is constantly improving. While project managers, executives, problem solvers, and front-line employees rely on the current version of Connections Online 4.1 to manage their work, we've been hard at work behind the scenes on the next-generation of work management. We currently just call it Connections.
Why the new version?
The current version is built on technologies that are over 10 years old now. The tools available to developers have improved a bit since then. Also, the ways people use business applications have changed. We used to be solely focused on 1024 x 768 desktop screens. Now, we want to be flexible enough to handle 4k+ conference screens, desktops, tablets, new phones, and even a few older but still useful smartphones.

Where is it?
The new version is available for current clients to view in a limited, alpha version at app.connectionsonline.net. If you'd like to see it, we can migrate your current site into the new app so you can log in and look around. You will have to set a new password for the new site as our old passwords cannot be migrated and we are following the newest NIST guidelines about authentication security.
What is done and when will my favorite feature work?
We are publishing a full changelog that includes information about the current status as well as what was included in previous releases. Additionally, we are making announcements in this forum every time we publish a new release. If you are interested in keeping up with every change as it happens, make sure you sign up to follow this forum.
When will it be done?
We have a roadmap available at app.productplan.com. The pieces on the roadmap are constantly moving around and changing dates, but you can always see our current estimates by viewing that page. We don't have (and can't have) a carved-in-stone, mark-your-calendars and reserve-the-party-room release date set. We all want it to be released as soon as possible, but not before it is really ready. When it is finally ready, though, expect a big party!
