Announcements are available on organization and department dashboard pages, providing a way to share important information or schedule events visible to everyone in the organization or a specific department. Since the organization dashboard is the first page users see upon login, announcements placed there ensure critical updates are readily available to all users.
Each announcement tile allows users to post messages or events directly on the page. Announcements include:

Title, date, and description for key details.

Optional image or banner to enhance visibility.

Event settings with a start and end time and a location, if applicable.
The announcements are essentially in a draft version for the person that created them until the announcement date arrives, then it becomes visible to everyone that can see that page's dashboard.
This feature helps organizations effectively communicate updates, schedule events, and ensure important information is easily accessible to the right people.
