"Hide" Option for Child Metrics

It would be nice if there was an option to hide child metrics. Some of our departments utilize metrics to track individual goals, etc. Right now, we have to either have all individual metrics listed on the dept. page so they all roll up...or I create a separate "hidden" page where I build all the metrics to roll up and then I just link the parent metric to the dept. page--this option works well, but it would be much easier if we could just create everything on the dept. page and just hide the child metrics rather than creating a whole separate page and linking everything. For departments that have a lot of staff, obviously the amount of metrics that show up on the dept. page is not visually appealing.

  Detailed projects can get very long.  It would be great to be able to minimize the tasks so it just shows the milestone, especially when meeting with the team during Project Dialogs to make the updates to the team be more effective and efficient.
