Connections Online Users Roundtable Highlights – June 12 – 14, 2011
Dinner at the hotel Sunday evening was a great way to start out the Roundtable…
Lots of networking and sharing went on throughout the session – and into the evening…
Presentations: v CEOs Larry Biernacki and Brian Ducharme made presentations on using Connections to focus the organization on “what’s important” to the business – and how to pull everyone together for the same purpose. v A+ Credit Union – Roger Douville showed the group how they created a Jeopardy TV Game to teach the information in Connections. The result was an engaging, fun process that had an amazing impact. v Three Rivers Credit Union Is going through a major organizational redesign and operational transformation. Tiffany Yoquelet shared how Connections Online made a difference in this change effort by aligning and engaging employees. She also shared some interesting Resource tracking documents. v State Employees of Maryland CU – Tony Daniels shared how they rejuvenated the Connections process while migrating from version 3.2 to 4.0. SECU won a best practice award from HR CUNA Council for their work using different training methods. v Presentation of our updated User Interface – Our developer shared the functionality of a new user interface. Major changes are eliminating the pop-up edit windows and making updating data easier. This includes being able to “check off” tasks without opening an edit window.
Connections Online New Support Site We've moved all of our old bug reports, feature requests, and forums over to a new system hosted with Zendesk. There are still a few broken links to fix, but other than that, things should be good to go.
A favorite feature of this new site is that it shares logins with Connections Online. If you have a Connections Online account, you can log in with it here too! You will also enjoy the new e-mail notification system, new support tickets, new integration with the Connections Online web site and Connections Online applications, the new... well, you get the idea.
Take a look around, use the forum search, suggest new features, and please, report any missing images or broken links that you find!
You can access the site at the bottom of your Connections Online page by clicking on “Support Community” and choose to open it in a new tab. Here is a link for instructions on our new support site: http://www.connectionsonline.net/docs/NewSupportSite-Zendesk.pdf
