Individual Dialogs
As of October 5th, we have transitioned the single Basic Role comments box for Individual Dialogs in Beta 4.1 to a new system where each Basic Role has its own note field. The combined note field was a test to clean up the user interface and eliminate the issue in 4.0 with users forgetting to click the green check mark to save and, as a result, lose the note. However, with the notes combined, users could not use both 4.0 and 4.1 concurrently. We chose to return to the separated Dialog Basic Role comment fields, where the operation is faster in Beta 4.1 and it takes measures to assure changes are saved. Now, when entering a Dialog Basic Role Comment, you only need to click the Basic Role on the screen and the edit box will appear. While editing, you can easily copy previous Dialog comments with a single click. When ready to save, you press a Save button located under the edit box. If you click off of the Basic Role at any time, it will warn that changes have not been saved. We hope that this will provide a fast, easy system that will prevent data loss and frustration.
We would like to thank everyone that helped with transitioning the comments. This was a great time saving measure and it is appreciated. Also, we did not transition comments for Dialogs or Individuals that were deleted more than 2 months ago. If these Dialogs or Individuals are reinstated, we will gladly fix them on an as needed basis. Please contact support@connectionsonline.net for assistance.

Tips for the Month
Problems with Your New Computer or new Operating System
Most likely, any issues when dealing with Connections Online 4.0 in IE on new computers or on fresh installs of any Windows operating system would be due to settings in IE. We recommend adding the Connections Online site to the Trusted Sites list in IE and that the site be viewed with Compatibility View turned off.
Need Support Help with Connections Online?
Click on the link at the bottom of your Connections Page called “Support Community” and you will be directed to a site where you can make a ticket explaining your issue. Your login is the same as your Connections Login. This will give our support team the opportunity to ask questions about your issue in order to solve it. Your email will be attached to this and you will get answers to your questions. It is helpful if you can attach a screen shot of your problem also. Another option is to email your problem/question to support@connectionsonline.net and a support ticket will automatically be created. You will receive the answers and can be contacted with questions to help solve your issue.
Drag and Drop Version 4.1
To drag from the bottom of a list to beyond what you see at the top of the screen, begin dragging, then use either your mouse scroll wheel or the up arrow on your keyboard to scroll the screen up to where you can see the new location, then you can drop the selected item with your mouse. This should work in all browsers.
